Purpose Of Variables

Without variables are programs wouldn't be very interesting. We would have an employee program with only one employee, a game with one game element that moves in only one direction, etc.

Variables are so important to coding, that we might think of coding and computers as algebra variable machines.

Balls - Without Variables

We are not using variables here, so every ball is the same.

Balls - With Variables

We are yes using variables here, so our balls can vary (radius, color etc).

Persons - Without Variables

We are not using variables here, so every person is the same. There is no variation.
