Right-Click Start Menu
Right-Click the "Start Menu" button
Select "Settings"
Choose the "Settings" menu item.
Search for "Environment Settings"
Enter "Environment Settings" (or part of)
Select "Edit the system environment variables"
Click "Environment Variables"
Click the "Environment Variables" button.
Add New Environment Variable
Click the "New" button
Add JAVA_HOME
Enter variable name JAVA_HOME
Enter value which is your
jdk path...
(version # may be different than that shown)
Hint: Copy-paste path from your file browser
Edit Path
Select "Path" variable
Click "Edit"
Add New Path Entry
Click "New"
Enter: %JAVA_HOME%\bin
Move New Entry Up
Click "Move Up" (with new line selected)
New line should move up
Move New Entry To Top
Continue to click "Move Up" (with new line selected) until it is at top
"%JAVA_HOME%\bin" should be at top
Click Ok
Click Ok on dialogs to finish.
