Make target dir on server, e.g.:
~/nodejs
Download lastest archive to server from, e.g. source will be like:
node v8.4.0 linux x64.tar
Extract archive to the new directory.
~/nodejs/node-v8.4.0-linux-x64
Append path in config file (e.g., ".bash_profile")

export NODEJS_HOME=~/nodejs/node-v8.4.0-linux-x64
export PATH=$PATH:$NODEJS_HOME/bin
Verify Installation
>node --version
v8.4.0
Test -- Upload a Node.js Projects to Server, e.g. something like:
~/temp-node/module-lab-1/rec
~/temp-node/module-lab-1/rec-user
Go Into Project Dir
>cd ~/temp-node/module-lab-1/rec-user
Do NPM Install
>npm install
Run Node
>node main
10 x 2 = 20 -- 8 x 7 = 56 -- total a = 76
